It wasn't long before we wanted to quickly exit the joint, as it had
lulled both of us into a semi-sleepy state in less than 10 minutes.
That's usually not to surprising for Steiny, but since it was still
relatively early in the night we didn't need any of that crap happening.
The place was full of Happy New Year
signs. It
worried us that perhaps the people there had been there since
January 1 and didn't have the energy to leave.
We checked for messages on the cell phone from Deb, but were unable to retrieve
them. Then we remembered that we were supposed to be looking for a subway station, so on we went...
